"MyWorkstream" Application Speeds Up Timesheet Submission
Workstream Construction Services Ltd, Bicester: January 21, 2014 – Workstream's Online Timesheet Entry System (WOTES) has been a big hit with clients, enabling quick and easy submission of gang timesheets since the system's launch in January 2013. Now Workstream is helping individual candidates benefit from the speed and convenience of online timesheet submission too.
Registered candidates can sign up with the company's new MyWorkstream application to benefit from faster, more secure payments by submitting an eTimesheet online every week. They only need to enter their total hours worked for each day on an online form prepopulated with all their other details and MyWorkstream automatically adds up those hours, and emails a copy of their eTimesheet directly to the appropriate client representative for signing off. No more hassle finding a pen, filling in a piece of paper, getting it signed and faxing it. The MyWorkstream eTimesheet can be completed on a smart phone, a tablet or a computer and takes less than 30 seconds from start to finish.
MyWorkstream also enables operatives quickly and easily to update every Workstream office with their latest contact details, skills and qualifications. (If they have changed their mobile phone number or their home or email address since registering, they might otherwise be missing out on work opportunities.)
MyWorkstream lets operatives see at a glance what contact details Workstream holds for them in its records. If those details are incorrect, operatives can easily update them in just a few seconds. They can use MyWorkstream to upload their latest CV, ID documents or certificates as well. (If they have additional work experience or qualifications Workstream's consultants don't know about, MyWorkstream lets them get the company's records up to date by uploading documents or scans with one click.
Benefits for Workstream Clients
Workstream's clients can benefit from the new MyWorkstream application too according to company managing director Keith Alderton: "We realised long ago that to attract and retain the best workers, we had to be better than other personnel suppliers," he says. "For that reason we've always invested in systems that keep everything running smoothly – bringing the right job opportunities to the right people and ensuring all our workers get paid on time, every time.
"Now, with the launch of MyWorkstream, we've made things even better for operatives and clients. MyWorkstream eTimesheets are easier to use than conventional, paper timesheet systems, quicker to complete, more accurate and more secure. MyWorkstream users get a password-protected login to the system with unique user name that automatically matches him/her with Workstream's assignment records, so only genuine operatives working on client sites can use it to submit timesheets.
"The MyWorkstream eTimesheet system is also less prone to mistakes. Our eTimesheets show all the hours worked in a clear, unambiguous and easily verifiable format. The days of trying to decipher badly hand-written timesheet entries on crumpled bits of paper are over. And working with eTimesheets means our clients can deal with them when they want to, not just when they're thrust into their hands by workers who are impatient to get paid. Authorising an eTimesheet is simply a matter of forwarding it to our client's local Workstream office. The entire process is handled digitally for speed and convenience."
