Building envelope specialist Prater is using the recruitment team at Workstream's London Docklands office to provide labour for the prestigious Royal Wharf development, which has been planned not simply to provide river views but a high street, side streets and mews dwellings as well – all in a conscious effort to mirror the way London has developed historically. The result will be a rich mixture of buildings, with different functions, but with an organic rather than a planned feel. Set to take around seven years to complete, Royal Wharf will eventually comprise 3,500 residential units arranged along streets and around landscaped squares, with shops, community and commercial facilities, a fitness complex and leisure units.
