Resorts World Birmingham

From Workstream Pulse, Spring 2014

The new Resorts World Birmingham complex taking shape at the city's National Exhibition Centre will be the UK's first integrated destination leisure complex. The £150 million project features various attractions including a hotel, shopping malls, an 11-screen cinema, conference suites, restaurants, a spa and a casino. The construction phase of the 7-storey, 538,000 square foot leisure and entertainment complex will last two years and Resorts World will ultimately open its doors to the public early next year. Workstream is supplying skills to various subcontractors on site, including shuttering carpenters, slingers/banksmen, crane lifting supervisors, machine operatives and cladding and curtain walling installation teams.
