Our client has a long history of providing bespoke specialist solutions to the construction industry and their Shopfitting and Fit Out Division is now seeking a temporary-to-permanent Quantity Surveyor to become a valid team member within the company set-up. Ideally candidates will have vast experience of the shopfitting industry and experience in a similar role. The positions demands the management of all financial aspects of contracts, from preparing budgets and target costs, through to final accounts - ensuring profit margins and cash flow are maintained, regularly reporting to the Directors with financial and project overview. Working with clients, client representatives and D&A Contracts Managers, Quantity Surveyors, the successful candidate with manage specific client information, assist CM's in financial management of the projects, place orders and financially control sub-contractors. A thorough understanding and awareness of Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007 is essential, and candidates should possess excellent communication skills, professionalism and the ability to operate in a fast paced, pressured working environment.
