Volumetrics

Workstream’s Volumetrics Service delivers fast, accurate volume calculations from digital terrain models as well as cut-and-fill volumes between digital terrain models. The service also uses contouring and elevation analysis tools to provide a variety of graphic presentations of cut-and-fill data.

The movement of large quantities of material to and from a site to change its existing landform can be extremely costly. Workstream’s Fixed Price Volumetrics Service helps minimise the import or removal of material from site by enabling landform designers to balance the cut and fill without guesswork and expensive mistakes. Deliverables include all source files, photographs and volume data. Digital Terrain Models show original levels, excavated levels and excavated volume.
